Am I the only one that finds this strange?
24-year-old Angel Pantoja Medina of Puerto Rico apparently told his family that when he passes away, he wants to stand upright through his wake. Well, his family granted his wish. Dressed in a Yankees cap, sunglasses and a gold chain, Angel was mourned by family members while standing tall in his mother’s living room for 3 days.
The funeral home told The Associated Press that they used a special embalming treatment to keep him standing. His brother said, “He wanted to be happy, standing.“
The police are currently investigating Angel’s death. His body was found underneath a bridge last Friday.

I am appalled but cant say I am shocked! What I don’t get is how for an entire shift of them driving around in this car not one of them saw this doll in the antenna? You are telling me that they ate in the car and used the bathroom in the car all day? I find it very hard to believe that they didn’t know it was there and that it was a prank. Prank or not its not funny, not even close to it! But of course as always after IAB investigates the situation they are going to conclude that the officers did nothing wrong! These are who they expect people to put there trust in?
I guess its NYC cops doing what they do best.

NEW YORK (Reuters) – A New York man claimed in a lawsuit filed on Wednesday that he found a knife with a 7-inch (18-cm) blade baked into the bread of his foot-long “Cold Cut Trio” Subway sandwich.
John Agnesini, 26, a magazine designer, said he had already taken a few bites from the sandwich in late June when he spotted the knife jutting out from the bread’s crust. The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan state court, seeks $1 million.

The twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, were born shortly before 8pm yesterday (0400 AEST Sunday), the paper said quoting gynaecologist Michel Sussmann.
Angelina Jolie is fine after having a Caesarian section, it added.
Knox Leon was reported to weigh 2.27kg and Vivienne Marcheline 2.28kg.
The babies’ first photograph was sold to a US paper for $US11 million ($11.4 million), Nice-Matin said, adding that the money would be given to a humanitarian cause.
