Am I the only one that wondered what ever happened to Tyrese’s wife Norma Mitchell. (Did anyone even know he had a wife??) The two were married in 2007 and Tyrese filed for a divorce just 10 months later. According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, Norma is requesting more money from Tyrese’s pockets and claims that he is an absentee father who doesn’t support their daughter.
According to the documents, Tyrese met Norma in London in 2002 when she was an unemployed college student living with her mother. From the moment they met, Tyrese showered her with expensive gifts, getaways and unlimited access to his credit cards. She claims he asked her to move to the States with him a year later and she dropped out of college and left her family behind to be with him. In 2007, he asked her to marry him after their daughter was born and required her to sign a prenuptial agreement. She agreed because if she hadn’t, she would have been forced to return home to London with her baby. They got married just three days after she signed the prenup and shortly afterward, they began to have disagreements. Tyrese would become angry and aggressive and leave her home with the baby for days and weeks at a time while he went on vacation, hung out with Brandy and who knows what else.
According to Norma, she didn’t even see the divorce coming because the two had been searching for a home together. She is unable to support herself because she doesn’t have a visa, she has no support system and she always believed he would take care of her and the family. However, Tyrese currently pays her $5,000 a month, plus rent on a $2700 apartment and almost $800 a month for the lease on her Range Rover. However, this is not enough for Norma who claims her expenses far exceed the $5000 a month he gives her.
So what is she spending her money on? *please take a seat*
In the documents she says that an outfit for Shayla costs over $350 and Tyrese prefers that the baby doesn’t wear the same outfit twice. A pair of shoes for Shayla costs atleast $100 and she claims Tyrese does not like to see the baby in scuffed shoes so she has to purchased them frequently. She also spends over $300 on toys, over $1000 on the baby’s jewelry and over $250 on grooming supplies for Shayla a month. Norma also outlined expenses for traveling to Disneyland every other month, the aquarium three times a month, first class flights and expensive hotels since they are now accustomed to these things.
She is requesting that the court orders Tyrese to pay her atleast $12,000 a month. – necole bitchy
Frist of all, Tyrese was out of line in the first place with his choice of a life partner. He is from THE Hood, Watts, CA Okay. Although he has a LITTLE money (which aparently old girl didn’t realize it was little before she booked up and left her country and family), that does not mean that he has out grown the hood mentality. He needs a woman that more closly resembles his mother and can better relate to him.
Secondly, when an unemployed student is willing to leave her home country, family and persuit of education, you have to wonder if she has alterior motives. Now when they arrived to the states and if she immediately got back into school and didn’t get KNOCKED UP, I might believe that she had NO thoughts of him being Captain Save A Broke Student.
Last, the man is giving you $5K/month, almost three grand for an apartment and paying your “Range Rover” monthly payment – Shut Up Gold Digga!
Tyrese needs to file for custody of the little girl, send her non-visa having, college drop out, chasing water falls, gold diggin a.. packing and holla at a sista.
